Through his American company JustPressRec LLC —now the Texas based Perpetuus LLC, where he serves as the CEO— he produced dozens of advertising campaigns for major international brands and for the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles over nearly a decade.

 

He subsequently contributed to high-impact projects ranging from screenwriting and the production of independent films to key roles in international entertainment events. In doing so, he honed his expertise in artistic direction, cultural marketing, and global networking. This phase of his career saw him moving seamlessly between red carpets, prestigious festivals, and collaborations with stars of international stature, consolidating a cosmopolitan vision that blends American innovation with European sensibility.

 

Today, Maximilian Law is recognized as a leader in the founding and artistic direction of film festivals. His visionary leadership has created events of global resonance. For the past ten years he has served as founder and artistic director of the Ferrara Film Festival, one of Italy’s most important film festivals. The event attracts filmmakers from around the world to celebrate world-premiere screenings and to foster cultural dialogue. In parallel, he directs the Comedy Film Fest, the premier festival dedicated to cinematic comedy. Held in Puglia, it has revolutionized the Italian landscape with its emphasis on intelligent humor, inclusivity, and emerging comic talents.

 

Equally significant is his role in the TerraVision Film Fest, a major cinematic event focused on environmental themes. Promoted by the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of the Environment, the festival takes place in prestigious locations in the province of Caserta (near Naples). Through evocative screenings and high-level debates, it raises public awareness of urgent issues such as sustainability and green policies. 

 

In 2026 he established FederCinema, an organization created to manage this international network of events in a systematic and efficient manner, drawing on nearly one thousand collaborators worldwide. 

 

Maximilian currently works closely with the Italian Ministry of Culture and the leading institutions in cinema and culture. He contributes to policies for artistic promotion, the professional training of young people through university internships (under an exclusive ten-year agreement with the University of Ferrara), and the development of cultural initiatives at both national and international levels.
